Battambang town, July 12-13, 2016: Network of Food Security and Safety in Cambodia (NDF-C), Land and Housing Right Network (LARHIN), NGO Forum on Cambodia and General Directorate of Agriculture, MAFF co-organized second regional consultation workshop on draft law of agriculture land. Approximately, 150 participants (women: 50) as the representatives
from farmers, government representative from Provincial Department of Agriculture, fishery and forestry, Provincial Department of Environment, Provincial Department of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, Provincial Department of Water Resource and Meteorology, woman farmer champions, private sector, NGOs and Lawyer groups from 9 provinces: Kampong Thom, Preah Vihear, Siem Reap, Kampong Chhnang, Pursat, Battambang, Bantheay Meanchey, Odormeanchey and Pailin. The purpose of the workshop is to collect inputs from various stakeholders to improve the draft Law on Agricultural Land.
