ADB and World Bank Project Monitor Meeting

Philippines, September 28 – 29, 2015: About 50 participants as the members of the NGO Forum on ADB from Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippine, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, US, Australia and Japan joined together for the meeting to update the progress of their work in monitoring the ADB and/or World Bank Project. This meeting organized by the secretariat of the NGO of ADB.

Additionally, the group worked together on the new strategy regarding to the new investment program in Asia, for Example, Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) as well as discussed to prepare themselves before the 50 anniversary of the ADB.

“This annual meeting is also the opportunity to enforce the group commitment to work together by identify the challenges in working in the respected country and learnt from other country experiences especially seek a support from all the members on the cases,” said Ms. Kim Nay, NGOF’s Development Issue Programme Manager that represented in the meeting.
