Training Workshop on Open and Accountable Budgeting

Budget Working Group (BWG) of the national and international CSOs coordinated by the NGO Forum on Cambodia in cooperate with International Budget Partnership (IBP) organize the first 3 day physical training workshop on “Open and Accountable Budgeting” at Himawari hotel from 16 to 18 May to BWG’s members and partners from 20 organizations. CONSULTATIVE WORKSHOP ON COMMUNITY TENURE IN THE FOREST AREA FOR THE AMENDMENT OF THE LAW ON FORESTRY AND THE LAW ON PROTECTED AREAS

Three regional province workshops on the amendment of the Law on Forestry and the Law on Protected Areas were organized in collaboration with the NGO Forum on Cambodia and the Secretariat of the National Committee for Sub-National Democratic Development on May 5, 9 and 11, 2022 in Preah Vihear, Kratie and Kampot. The NGO Forum on Cambodia (NGOF) collaborated with the National Committee for Sub-National Democratic Development (NCDD) organized three Regional Consultation Workshops on Collecting CSO Inputs on Customary Tenure to Forestry Law and Protected Area in Preah Vihear Province on 05 May 2022, in Kratie Province on 09 May 2022 annd Kampot Province on 11 May 2022. The 2nd Quarterly Member Meeting in 2022

The Member Meeting is held quarterly, four times per year, while the actual meeting day could be fluctuated. For 2022, the Second Quarterly Member Meeting (2nd QMM) fell on the 27th April 2022. Dissemination and Dialogue Workshop on Research Study of People Migration Link to Climate Change

Having seen increasing Cambodian people migration to abroad for job, especially better jobs, a study commissioned by The NGOF, conducted by a consultant team in two sites: Kampong Svay district, Kampong Thom province; and Chetr Borei district, Kratie province. The study report was finalized on the 25th October 2021 and circulated for further clarifications and comments among relevant stakeholders.
