On Friday, March 23, 2018 The NGO Forum on Cambodia and Asian Pacific Research Network (APRN) organize workshop on Development Effectiveness at Tonle Bassac I Restaurant, Phnom Penh. There were 50 participants from representative of Ministry of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries, Minis¬try of Planning, Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Mines and Energy, European Union, NGO members, CSOs, Network members, Development partners, provincial NGOs. The over¬all objective of this workshop to contribute to enhancing CSO effectiveness, legitimacy and transparency through the implement of CSO accountability processes, especially through the development of a CSO Effective Compacts (Country Compacts). The specific objectives were:
• Increased knowledge and skills on CSO Development Effectiveness, and ac¬countability mechanisms for CSOs in (Country).
• Established inclusive mechanisms for country-level collaborative work, through a country-level Country Com-pacts Team.
• Facilitated process for development of a (Country) CSO Effectiveness Compact.
